Ten Things to Hate About JJ
You know you want to.

1) JJ isn't her real name. In fact, it's a nickname that she's only worn for the past three years, but it seems to fit like a pair of comfy trainers, so she kept it. She's become so used to being called this that she's almost forgotten that her real name is actually Sarah. But because she's hated the name Sarah since birth, she's gone by several other aliases before JJ stuck: Aranel, Sarros, and even SexyHarrySpecs.

2) JJ is a second year student at New York University, but is academically a junior because she's just that brilliant. Actually, she isn't; she was simply one of those disgusting overachievers in high school you often read about (like ::cough::Hermione::cough::). She loves New York with a passion akin to that of a lover, although she wishes Manhattan got a little more sun sometimes. If she misses anything about Los Angeles, it's this: the beaches, the melanin in her skin, and her little brother. She misses very little else about it.

3) JJ's favourite subject is English and in fact, she's an English Literature major at NYU. She likes to call herself a literary slut because she would do anything and everything (and this especially includes sex) to read a good story. Her favourite classroom pasttime is to daydream about really, really amazing literary post-coital conversation about James Joyce's Ulysses. She thinks it's funny that people call her an artist sometimes, because first and foremost, she is a writer at heart. When she's not finding words sexy, she likes practicing yoga, playing the piano (her other lover aside from New York City), writing songs for the guitar, and being emotionally unavailable to potential suitors.

4) If it has eyeliner, it is always a good thing. JJ especially likes to draw young Sirius Black because she has a sneaking suspicion that Sirius was actually a glam rocker and would therefore wear copious amounts of it.

5) JJ is a walking contradiction. She's a health freak to the point of being vegetarian, but smokes like a chimney and drinks like fish. She wonders how she got that way because she certainly didn't INTEND to be a contradiction, but this, she figures is just how things work out sometimes.

6) She keeps a growing list of men in the margins of her notes of whom she would one day like to fuck. They include: (legal) Daniel Radcliffe, Elijah Wood, Viggo Mortensen, Colin Firth, David Duchovny, Johnny Depp, Ioan Gruffudd, Ewan McGregor, Jonathan Rhys- Meyers, Christian Bale, Jeremy Irons, Colin Meloy, Neil Gaiman, (legal) Jeremy Sumpter, and David Wenham.

7) JJ fancies herself a polyglot. She loves languages and especially loves learning obscure and random phrases that she will never need to use such as Sono serifou zen-zen, settokuryoku nakute ("It's just doesn't quite cut it" in Japanese) and Sei troppo sexy, non lo sopporto ("You're so sexy I can't stand it" in Italian), and various and other sundry obscenities in foreign languages. Her first language was Korean, but she now considers herself fairly conversant in English and Spanish. She also knows a smattering of Irish, Welsh, Yiddish, German, Japanese, and Italian.

8) She has a slight Cho obsession because she hopes to redeem the little bugger through her artwork and fiction ever since J.K. Rowling destroyed her character in The Order of the Phoenix.

9) Is probably the BIGGEST Tolkien nerd you'll ever meet in your life. Yes, she's dressed up as an elf to all the premieres. Yes, she learned how to speak Elvish (both Quenya and Sindarin). Yes, she even learned how to write in it. And she doesn't think this the slightest bit strange.

10) JJ has been told by several people that she is "mysterious." She wonders where this notion comes from as she considers herself very frank, and in fact, whores herself out via Livejournal.
